About the Event
Mujeres en Ritual Danza-Teatro, founded by Dora Arreola, celebrates their 25th Anniversary and artistic legacy with a special performance featuring companies of women dance and theatre artists who have been influenced by their extraordinary trajectory of creative work. Art2Action’s Andrea Assaf, Lubana Al Quntar, and Eylem Basaldi will perform excerpts from Eleven Reflections on September, along with guest artists Miroslava Wilson, Celeste Miller, Briseida Lopez, Purple Dancing Club, and Proyecto Ataranto. The espectáculo will culminate with a remount of the company’s first production from 1999, Mujeres en Ritual. If you’re on the West Coast, don’t miss this special, one-night-only, international event!
