GABI VIGUEIRA

Gabrielle “Gabi” Vigueira (she/they) is the General Manager of Art2Action and serves as Assistant National Coordinator of the National Institute for Directing & Ensemble Creation. As an arts administrator and consultant, Gabi coordinates organizational operations, programming, and production logistics; supports fundraising initiatives; and collaborates closely with artists and partners to develop and tour socially engaged, interdisciplinary performance works nationwide. Gabi holds a Master of Arts in Performance Studies from Louisiana State University. Gabi is also TESOL-certified, and worked as an ESL teacher (2019-21) supporting children ages 3-13 in developing English language skills through Total Physical Response (TPR), music, and play-based learning. Gabi’s creative practice spans theatre, vocal performance, visual art, and video; her paintings and video editing work have been exhibited internationally. Her favorite projects are community-centered initiatives that amplify underrepresented voices and foster meaningful dialogue. In 2017, Gabi worked as a scenic artist and production assistant on Tigre by Banda Magda (Verve Label Group / GroundUP Music). Most recently, Gabi is a recurring member of the music team for DRONE by Andrea Assaf, and the production team of 24 Hours for Palestine (2024–25), a 24-hour global livestream of artists and activists against genocide. Born and raised near New Orleans, Louisiana, Gabi is currently based in Tampa, Florida.
