About the Event
Do you have a story to share about 9/11, or the aftermath of the years that followed? Are you looking for community to listen and share with as we commemorate this day? Join Art2Action and The Carver Community Cultural Center for a special online opportunity to remember and reflect together.
This space is offered as part of week-long series of offerings and events marking the 20th anniversary of 9/11, and inviting communities to reflect with us, not only on the tragedy of that day, but also on the 20 years of war and policies that followed. This initiative, Eleven Reflections on the Nation, springs from Andrea  Assaf's seminal work, Eleven Reflections on September -- a poetry and multi-media performance on Middle Eastern American experience in the post-9/11 era. But this time, YOUR VOICES will be at the center.Â
Please join us for grounding, story sharing, deep listening, and creative reflection. We look forward to being in community with you.
Can't make this event, but have a post-9/11 story to share? You're also invited to use this form, hosted by the Arab American National Museum, to share your story: CALL FOR VIDEOS & CREATIVE SUBMISSIONS
