Racial Justice Training 1: U.S. History & Civic Engagement in Houston

Guest speaker Keryl McCord, founder of Equity Quotient, will present a  history of race in the United States, centering Black history while  offering an intersectional analysis of how white supremacy affects us  all. Houston respondents will connect the big picture to local context,  and examine how racism has been central to keeping Black, indigenous,  and communities of color from voting and other forms of civic  participation.
