Veterans Open Mic ONLINE!

SPECIAL ONLINE EDITION!

Because Art2Action believes in protecting each other by limiting in-person contact during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are getting INNOVATIVE with the Veterans Open Mic! On May 3rd, 2020, we're continuing our online adventures... Join co-hosts Andrea Assaf & Jessica "J-9" with DJ Cotton, local artists & national guests, for a special evening of creativity & community-building!

Art2Action presents the monthly Veterans Community Open Mic as a creative space for Veterans, families, community members, caregivers, allies, and artists of all kinds. Usually held at the Bunker Cafe in Tampa, FL on the 1st Sunday of every month, we're currently virtual!

As always, the Open Mic will be from 6:30-9pm, with sign-ups beginning at 6:30pm. Open Mic sign-up spots are up to 5 minutes each, in any genre or creative form. While the mic is open to all, veteran’s issues and experiences take center stage in this unique community event. 

ALL ARTISTS, VETERANS, FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS & SUPPORTERS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE!

First time on the mic? Seasoned poet, musician or storyteller? Just want to listen? No problem! Your level of involvement is what you want it to be, no pressure! You can sign-up to share, or just listen in.
